Lincoln Avenue Between Fort Park and Lafayette
Why oh why is this one block section of road not on the list for repair????? It's practically split in half all the way down the road, it has a mound growing in the middle close to Lafayette and the alley where all of the big trucks go to Chiarellis near Fort Park is always sinking in and your vehicle takes a nose dive there or when it rains you could actually swim in it! I know the DPS has filled it in many times over the years, but I do not understand why this street is not on the list. Also this is a fire lane street so parking is only on one side and I think this street should get attention. HELP.......... Janet |

Re: Lincoln Avenue Between Fort Park and Lafayette
I know these roads cost me 2 upper ball joints and a wheel bearing yesterday to the tune of $400.

Quote:
Take a look at how some streets are deteriorated in front of a house or two, but fine on the stretches for the rest of the street. Gasline leak. DTE doesn't want to pay for replacing the street and the small leak does not hurt them financially. Remember about 10 years ago when a street in Lp "exploded"? It was confirmed to be a gasline leak that was never repaired and finally caught a spark. The leak was repaired, but not completely. It still is leaking and the concrete above is falling apart.
