Yet another question for the parents
Another study (Im getting really into this statistics business) shows that 45% of parents are more accepting to the fact that their child is engaging in sexual activites when their child has been in a relationship with the same person for over a year. So what do you think? Do you think you would be more accepting?

well I think that if my child was to have these relations I would want it to be with someone he truly cared about, someone he developed a relationship with....I would not want his experiences to be with "casual" partners or one night stands...The casualness that some people have with sex and other "relations" is rather scary to me...I would hope that my child would take the time to cultivate a relationship with his partner, and learn that there is so much more to "sex" then the act itself...jmo anyway....

Amen Squishie...amen. People, especially teens, think of sex as just a quick moment of fun. That is how we have so many STD infected people and so many babies that end up in garbage cans in Detroit. Thats why we have a school nursery. Its sad but its the world. |
