Hey, I hate to interfere with a mother and son battle royal, but this topic has my name on it!  Anyhow, my schedule has changed in such a way that I do not have no where near as much time as I once did to read and post here (or anywhere, for that matter). Rest assured, I am still reading as much as I can, and I try to help keep everyone aware that I am still alive by posting trivial things at least (like the "Useless Facts" thread). And another problem I have had is this site being down so much. It seems as though about 50% of the few times I log on, the site is down. And that gets frustrating. I know, I know, you (Robin) are doing a lot of work and spending a lot of money to make improvements, and I'm sure it will be much better soon. But that doesn't mean I can become frustrated in the meantime, now does it? And the last few days, the navigation bar at the top has been missing. I'm now having trouble navigating. What's up with that. OK,  to rant. I'm still here. I may not be able to get into any debates in as much depth as I once could (I haven't even had time to read all the Social Security debate thread - doggone it!). But I'll throw in a few quips here and there time permitting.

I would have begun to move the forums...BUT....still a couple of bugs but more importantly...I must fix what the idiots broke so we have solid working forum. The thing that really bytes my rump....is on top ALL of the crashes from the current ISP.....they are trying to hit me for bandwidth and storage overage to the tune of over $300..... which all of this overage bandwidth and storage was due to me having to backup our db every four hours because of the unstable server....I have had to upload our 70MG plus db at least 10 times in the last two weeks. So....I am done throwing my fit..... and XXXX bent on working nite and day...until we are on our own and away from the ISP from XXXX. |

Robin was sooooo ticked off that she wouldn't even take my calls!! That's Ticked! I will be helping her test the forums on the new server tho..so we will be up and running asap.
