Have a safe trip, Councilman Disanto
Councilman Disanto will be out of town and will not be at next Monday's Meeting. He wished the Treasurer Candidates luck and hopes that no one will put a misc item on the agenda while he is gone. Have a VERY Safe Trip Councilman Disanto... When you get there and if you are curious as to what is going on while you are gone - Log on to YourLincolnPark.com.... We will have the info for you. Also, I want to Thank You for bringing up the issue about department heads not at the meetings. Some of our residents posted on the forums this same concern. Thank you and have a fun and safe trip!

Yes, thank you Mario and have a blessed trip. I thank you for the department head item. It is my opinion that the department heads and city manager should be out there in the front row if any questions come up.

And thank you also for catching the typo on the emergency vehicle price. I don't think anyone really looked at that item except him and then they blew him off and was like oh well we'll just fix it. That was alot of money to just say oh well. Even though it is a fixed rate, the point is there was a mistake made. Do they do this with anything else? Do they do this with their own bills? EEk! Have a great trip!! |

Mr. Magoo - You just don't get it. (Or, maybe you do...and you are just trying to get a debate going.) My disagreement (pet peeve) was when you stated that "none of us trust the rest of the council when you are away." (No one is going to wish Mario a lousy trip or a terrible/unsafe time..) What is the use: You only pick what you want to focus on. It is the second statement that you made that stirred my pet peeve. (And, whether you want to admit it or not...you know what you did...quite similar to a previous thread or so.) But I'll ask again: In the future, please do not make statements that imply came from me (and others) --especially when we have not given our permission/approval. That's all I am asking. (I, like others, can speak for myself (ourselves).) |

I think I do speak for most people on this site when I say we want to keep an eye on the council. Just look through all the posts in the politics section and you will see that most do not fully trust the mayor and council. I thank you |

No, Mr. Magoo. You are stating that no one can trust the council and mayor without Mario. This may be your view point...but, I don't think it is the majority's. (You're just campaigning for him, aren't you?) Also, how is Mario any differently viewed? He, like the others, has his supporters and those working to oust him from office. True, we all have to keep an eye on the council. But, Mario is not our "eye"! (Shame on you...you are doing this on purpose! But, I guess you won't admit it, so I'll just let it drop since I've stated my opinion.) |

Maybe you've got it wrong, again...Mr. Magoo! Besides, it 'wouldn't really matter. Don't put words into adults mouths! We are not your children! We can all speak for ourselves. But, you seem to have a habit of doing this. Generalities bring out this---just like sterotyping! Someone seems to be offensive because others don't like words written (or spoken) on their behalf. And... Who has to have the last say? It would appear you! (But, you did bring out this reply from me--whether I am a male or a female.) Enough said on this topic from me. (At least, this is my plan of action. But, one can never say never. Who knows how Mr. Magoo will continue along with this line of campaign rhetric and may be successful in getting me to respond again. Guess I have to wait and see.) |
