Cement, selling a house & city inspection...
A friend of mine told me that when he was buying a house in LP that the previous owner could patch the cement & didn't have to replace it. I find this strange that when you're buying a house that you can patch the cement but when they come thru to do the replacement of sidewalks that you don't have a choose of patching/repairing it. Does anyone know how the city inspection works when selling a house? I was told the inspection is the outside only. Thanks in advance. |

In Taylor you have to replace the cement (driveway/sidewalk) if there is more than one crack on each slab or there is a gap of I believe a 1", and they also inspect the interior of the home. |
