Three Cheers for Councilman DiSanto
Here here. Councilman Mario DiSanto once more proved to be a man of the people. He voted NOT to open the bids for a Tax Collection Agency. He voted NOT to refer the bids. Bids? I mean contract And another Three Cheers for Councilman Higgins for showing the courage not to refer the "contract" Mayor Brown seemed completely rattled by this turn of events. He studdered and stammered for the rest of the meeting. He couldn't even read the MDOT resolution because his mind was elsewhere. Thank you Councilman Mario DiSanto for making the ELECTED Treasurer do his job. Way to go Mario!!!

As useless as I believe he is in general, I must also join in commending him for his vote on this issue. That's two weeks in a row he has voted with Murphy and Brady on an issue. He must really be worried about this election. In fact he even commented on the upcoming election in one of his comments. Every election year it seems Disanto switches gears to meet the prevailing winds of the time. It looks like this year will be no different than the others. Looks like some of the rats are getting ready to abandon ship. Pretty typical. |
