Country Life
Here i am living in the "country" wondering how people "live" in the city. Does anyone seriously get tired of living in the city? If so, how come you're not in the "country"?

I don't mind city life so much. But...when's your housewarming barbeque, and what should I bring to toss on the bb?

i left l.p. and tried country life, on 1 acre in flat rock. hated it. hate mowing, hate having a mailbox on the street, hate having to drive on dirt roads. after 5 yrs moved back to l.p. 5 mins to mow the yard, and side walks great! |

I lived in Frenchtown for about a year on 26 acres. I thought I had died and gone to hades. All I did was cut grass and feed the mosquitos. The snakes scared the daylights out of me. I love the city life. I love city water and sidewalks and taking the garbage to the curb.

Lambs and sheeps are great for cutting grass.(not to mention other things!(!)) Chickens and ducks and what-not are good mosquito-killers.Not to mention bats too!(bat houses) I agree with the water though! You can still take your trash to the curb. They have independent contractors for garbage.Yard birds can eat alot of garbage meaning trimmings or what-not. |
