Lincoln Park man charged with causing problems at Pistons game
Last night two men were arrested towards the end of the Pistons game. One of them threw a coin at Alan Iverson and hit the player. The person throwing the coin is from Taylor. The Lincoln Park man was with the Taylor man and has been charged by police as well. Another black mark for Lincoln Park and Downriver

I think they should just go ahead and put up a glass wall between the fans and the players. What ever happened to good sportsmanship?

"What gets into people to make them do such things?" Aside from the excitment of the game, I'd say a good part of the problem is the beer I know what I'm about to say probably won't be received to well, but here goes Get rid of the beer!!! Do this with all public events I really believe if this is done many problems will simply disappear |

I don't think they should get rid of it they would not make any money. Also you do not want to make everyone suffer for the stupid people that cant not control themselves. they just need to be strict and have more police by the floor to stop the problems. |

I was at the game and that should have never happened. I know the guy who threw the quarter. He is my sister's husband's brother. The guy is always in trouble. What I don't understand is how he got down to be behind the bench. He had upper lever tickets. When you enter the lower bowl you would pass by 3 different palace employee's who ask for your ticket to make sure your seat is in that level but he was able to get past all three in that section. Some of the attendants will be paying for that mistake. |
