As a reminder the "No Holds Barred" forum is now active in this forum. Here are the rules that apply to this forum:

This board is a subscription based board where you can say whatever is on your mind about anything. We will still moderate this forum, but you will have more freedom of expression here.

Some topics we have had to edit or yank posts due to our safe surf and Dare ratings. We don't like to have to do that, but we have to protect our site. So, we've devised a forum that is subscription only, by seasoned members of the site to be able to speak about things that are really bothering them, things that are on thier mind that wouldn't be suitable to discuss around minors.

The requirements for your subscription to be approved are as follows:

1) You must be 18 years of age or older. You will need to provide your birthdate, if your member profile does not have a valid or missing date.

2) We do not want people to lurk in this forum, it would defeat the purpose of the private forum which is to discuss, deliberate and come to an ultimate recommendation for change. In addition, this allows for our members to say it how they really feel without impeding on the ECRi / Safe Surf Rating of this site or for the media to see.

Members seeking to participate in the NHB forum would have already participated substantially** on the community forums - meaning posting topics of substance and not topics like "I like breakfast at Denny's" or "the cruise is fun".

3) To request your inclusion, go to your Control Panel and click on the "join the NHB forum" or send a pm to me or Robbie (Forum Leader) Your request will be recieved the moderator/admin in charge of this forum.

4) Because this is a community private forum wheren we have ongoing discussions on many issues, including sensitive ones, members of the media will not be allowed in this forum.

5) Rules to keep this forum a positive enviroment:

• This is very private forum - only manual addition of members will be added
• This forum has layers of security on it BUT the one thing it doesn't have is the ability to hide the topic name from the search or the scrolling text box from the general forum SO please be very discreet in how you word your topics in this forum.
• Your anonymity is protected and you can use whatever alias you want (must be setup by admin however) - you do not have to use your current member name if you choose not to.
• Only members where their age of 18 or over and their email addy. You will need to provide your birthdate, if your member profile does not have a valid or missing date.
• NO REPORTERS or other media will be allowed access to this forum
• Please do not attack one another in this forum.... everyone is entitled to voice their opinion.

** Substantial partipation means that the posts that have been submitted on the general forums gives the reader information, opens up further dialog on an issue, and contributes actively within the discussions they take part in.

A short, one answer reply to a question posed does not constitute "substantial participation. Substantial means you have an opinion, and you state it often. You back it up with Why you feel that way. It is an interactive relationship that you form with the other members and thier discussion. Starting issue type topics and being involved in them is a good way to get into the forum as well. Participating in other issue type topics started by other members.

The one thing to keep in mind about what kind of people get admitted to the NHB is to remember what that forum is intended to be. In order to become involved in that forum, you have to demonstrate that you're a troubleshooter, an interactive poster. Ask Questions, help others answer theirs...most importantly we're looking for your take on a situation, and why you feel that way.

We need people that want to help change our community better and we look forward to more and more participation.

I just pmed you back, hopefully it helps. If not there is one more thing we can try. I think you are copying the url in the main browser instead of the one underneath the icon. Thats usually what messes it up.

Im a Senior but wont be 17 until October. It stinks. I wont even turn 18 until 6 months after I graduate.

I mainly just wanna join because Im super nosy and like to know everything that is going on. Lol.
