Residents go to podium September 26 2005
Leslie Lynch Wilson - About the Bulb Sales (Leslie please fill in this info ok?) Barabara (didn't catch the last name). She wants to know what the City of Lincoln Park is doing about an ordinance to disallow pitbulls as pets. Ed Zelenak stated that dogs can be destroyed if they are convicted (my word ) as a vicious animal. Zelenak states that there are ordinances against this breed in Ecorse but that the MML states that this ordinance will not hold up and so far no ordinance specific to disallowing breeds has been tried in court. Mayor Brown suggested she contact her State Rep, etc. and push for a law against this breed. Zelenak states that sometimes it's not the dog but the owner. (Vaslo entered meeting 8:27 during oral reports) And asked if licensing could prevent much of this. Zelenak states that it is important for people to practice safe dog (?). Matt Werling: He wants to thank all the residents that helped during the bad weather last week. He gave an update on the Bone Marrow Fundraiser (but I was interrupted by a call and didn't get all the info). Brian (president of the Little League) I couldn't catch the details because the sound was extremely low and I couldn't hear him. Something about the Haunted hay ride?

Did Mr. Vaslo do this to atleast get his face on the camera? I think he forgot his tie in the rush to get on camera.

I believe the hayride was Oct 14-15th, Oct 21-22 and Oct 28,29 & 30th from 7pm to 11pm at Quandt. If I have anything incorrect please correct me. I had to pull this from memory while trying to pull the calendar up on this laptop. |
