Have you been out to vote and seen any candidates? Who was it you saw and where?

I saw Council candidates Sandra Cotter and Jim Rutherford at Keppen School. I spent a good part of the morning talking with Cotter, and I have to say that I am impressed with her. Her and I share many of the same ideals and visions for the city. Our philosophies on how the Council should operate are much the same. I also don't believe she is on any Vaslo slate. But this is just my opinion from speaking to her. I wish her the best of luck in November.

I talked with Cotter. Sounds like her head is screwed on right. She gives an impressive presentation on cable TV about why she's running for council. I was impressed by Lulko's presentation as well. Disappointed that Sochocki didn't do one. Myers seemed awkward and stiff. I'm getting off topc so I'll stop. |

I didn't speak with Mr. Rutherford anymore than small talk. To answer your other question...like I said, it was just my opinion. We didn't name any names when discussing politicians...but much of what she said seemed to suggest that she carried a disdain for a certain politician on the council. One who sent "postcards" to people's residents. I know of only one politician who did that. There may be more, but I am unaware of them. |

Who is the one you know of? I didn't receive any postcards. BTW, I like Cotter as well. She's the best of the newcomers trying this year, IMO. |

I voted, after work (around 5 PM), at the Bandshell. Only one there was a woman passing out literature for Mr. Myers. No one else. Workers mentioned that there were very few people handing out literature at the Bandshell all day. |

i voted at Hoover school after work, about six pm. Councilman Murphy was there. Also there was a woman wearing a Lulko shirt. I was number 57. |

The wife and I voted at Foote at about 7pm. We were 45 and 46 and there were only 3 workers, no candidates. |
