Re: protesters in the Richmond sub
They were protesting because the sidewalk paving guys are not union. Richmond is by London and New York. If you go west on New York, it turns into Richmond. It runs like I75. Check all the new sidewalks that nobody walks on. |

Re: protesters in the Richmond sub
We have got a lot of sidewalks that haven't been put in by union worker's . We have sanitary sewers that aren't put in by union workers . are they going to stop flushing their toilets.? The city can't demand a contractor has union labor they.d get sued.

I'm pretty sure the non-union workers are also missing their work visa's &/or green cards. |

Re: protesters in the Richmond sub
My son-in -law a member of the I ntl Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 10 years was surpised on a job that they thought to be non union immigrants .Turned out to be Carpenters and Millwrights that had 20-25 years experience and 20 years in a union. He finished the job in Boston and returned to Georgia a little humbler. |
