Welcome to Our City of Lincoln Park Michigan!
We are a residential community and suburb of the city of Detroit. This area was laid out in 1906, incorporated as a village in 1921 and 1925 it became incorporated as a city.
Lincoln Park is approximately 5.93 sq. miles and is intersected by I-75, Fort Street, and Southfield Rd. I-94. We are bordered by the Cities of Allen Park, Southgate, Wyandotte, Melvindale, and Ecorse. The Detroit River is are about 1 mile and we are about 15 minutes to downtown Detroit.
For many years residents of Lincoln Park were often referred to as "Lincoln Parkers". There was once a newspaper for Lincoln Park that had this name of Lincoln Parker as well.
