Does anyone know if Mr Sochocki is really running for Treasurer of Lincoln Park?

He did not record a profile for the government channel.

I have not heard a word out of him.

I have not seen any signs.

I have seen no literature.

I have not heard of him going door to door talking to the residents of Lincoln Park.

Does he think name recognition along will help him against Ms Lulko?

The only thing I saw out of him was his profile in the News Herald.

I must wonder if he received such a sound thrashing from Ms Lulko in the Primary took the fight out of him.

Looking at the Primary results, it appears if he could pick up the votes received by Mr Myers, that he could still make a race of it. But sitting around will not get him those votes.

The votes received by Mr Myers are votes from people who believe in city government. They voted in a low turnout Primary. They are committed voters.

I figured Ms Lulko would defeat him, but I did think this young man would at least put up a good fight

FIrst, I don't think questions from the audience is the way candidates will be questioned.

Second, would it matter what Mr. Sochocki said, I'm sure who you are supporting.

Third, you live in Riverview, you can't vote in Lincoln Park.

Forth, if Mr. Sochocki isn't campaigning, isn't that better for your girl Ms Lulko? Really.

If I had said "your girl" I would have been accused of discriminating against woman.

Why would they not allow questions from the audience? I hope it does not turn out to be nothing more than the candidates standing up there and talking about their background. The candidates need to interact with the public.

I think Mr Sochocki would have been better off running for council. I believe he would have been a shoe-in.

I read where Mr Vaslo was slapped on the wrist for placing campaign material in mailboxes. At least he was campaigning.

Mr Kandes and Mr Kovacs have signs in residential neighborhoods that are against city code. At least they are campaigning.

Mr Sochocki came in 2nd in the Primary. Ms Lulko had almost twice the number of votes. Mr Sochocki could easily pick up the votes of Mr Myers (who came in 3rd), but he needs to start campaigning. He needs to let the Myers voters that he is a serious candidate and wants their vote.

If Mr Sochocki is relying on name recognition, he should now know that is not enough against Ms Lulko.

Mr Sochocki needs to start hitting the concrete.

He still has a shot, but he has to start campaigning. (I do hope he does not break any city codes or postal regulations)

I admired Mr Sochocki when he was mayor. I thought he did a good job, despite the opposition he faced by the machine.

I hope that he makes an effort to win, it will be a shame to have lost out on the opportunity to someone not interested enough to do anything.

I see the race for treasurer as a simple one. It's a vote either for Lulko or against her. I think that is why Mike and Craig split the vote.

I'm betting Craig sees it this way and stands by his record as Mayor feeling no need to spread political rhetoric. As I see it many see the error of their ways in voting Mr. Sochocki out of office and are glad he is running for office again. I believe Mr. Magoo is correct in stating Craig would have been an easy selection to the current council.
