I was "debating" with an Arab-Muslim (otherwise known as a "terrorist"...being ) at work a few days ago and was on the subject of suicide bombers. Needless to say, the "terrorist" (figuratively) blew up in my face. He claims the CIA is the largest "terrorist" group in the world.

I got the impression this was a cop-out to justify(perverisfiy) his hate for America.

I am just naive or is the CIA really is a terrorist group?

I also wonder if just about every Arab-Muslim holds this same view?!

I think the CIA is a big group of "ghosts" or spies. Covert operations are some of their games. So, I would somewhat agree.

Personally I think the CIA use to be a totally Awesome terrorist group, back before slick Willy destroyed their ability to spy, Assassinate and reeck hovoc with the idiots of the world, which kept me sleeping better at night. I would love to see Bush build them back to their former greatness back to when they made sure that every American life taken was paid back ten fold.

I love the idea that we have Americans that love this country so much that if some phycho nut job from the Middle East or anywhere else was to hurt my family, that I could feel assured that not only would they be made to pay, but that everyone in their familly, all of their friends and aquaintances, and anyone that resembeled a member of their family or aquantances would be made to pay.

Have you ever heard the story about the Terrost that kidnapped a Russian Citizen during the cold war, and the KGB found this terrorist brother or son, I can't remember anyways they cut the Brothers Jimmy Jang and Happy Rollers off and mailed them to the terrorist, gave the guy medical attentions and sent him home to Identifiy his own Jimmy Jang and Happy Rollers, with a message to the bad guy that his Son, his father, sister and mother were next!!!! Well guess what????/ The Russian was let go and they never messed with the Russians again, instead they turned their attention towards the U.S. back during the Carter Administration,( another Administration that reeked havoc with the CIA)

Yep I sleep good at night knowing that the CIA is working.

Funny how those people that come here and voice their opinions, can't see that the CIA they hate so much is one of many reasons why they can come here a spew off at the mouth and not be killed like they would in the SH*T hole that they came from!!!!!

CIA = Terrorist group, there is one flaw in that debate (in my eyes anyhow)

Has the CIA killed people? Yes. Do terrorist kill people? Yes...

Here is what I feel is the difference...

Terrorist kill innocent people. Terror is their weapon. They use this to strike fear in the common people.

The CIA kills people that can harm the US. Usually these individuals are spys, dignitaries, heads of state, etc. that pose some form of threat to the US. Take for instance the popular theory (maybe this is now fact, I don't know) that the US tried to kill Fidel Castro in the late 50's to early 60's. Castro didn't just invite communism to the Western hamisphere, but he allowed the soviets to position nuclear warheads aimed at us, right in our own backyard. I don't have a problem with the CIA trying to take someone like this out...he is/was a direct threat to our health and safety.

Another story is of how Saddam Hussein came to power in Iraq. Hidesite is 20/20, but at the time the US felt that bathist would be their allies, not enemy. Allegedly the CIA helped Saddam overthrough the Iraqi government. This blew up in their faces, but it made sense at the time.
