Mayor Brown votes NO on our IheartLP UNREAL!
I cannot believe Mayor Brown. Our Iheartlp has done so much for this community and always volunteers whenever and wherever she can. Although the motion passed and she was appointed (Disanto; Kandes; & Vaslo were absent) by yes votes of Higgins, Murphy, & Brady.. that was pretty crappy of Brown. Looks like this leopard hasn't changed his spots!! Shame on you BROWN! Amanda..... hang in there..... we support you and you will do a great job as usual on that commission!

I posted in the Cultural Commission thread about this. I cannot believe him. Is he that much of a jack? I think he should explain in this case why he voted this way!

I missed the meeting tonight so I didn't get to see Amanda get sworn in. Brown should have dropped his personal feelings aside and do what is in the best interest of the commission. |

Remember when Brown said he is not vindictive, then turned around and did not re-appoint the Public Safety Commissioner who voted to hire a Police and Fire Chief from among the ranks? Tonight, Brown proved his vindictiveness again. What reason would he have to vote NO. The only reason is he is still ticked about this website. When Vaslo complains about members not providing their real identity, that is the reason why. Brown is a vindictive person and he will get back at you one way or another. |

Amanda is a friend of mine. She is a perfect fit. The person who is in charge of the Cool Cities thing for Michigan even wrote a letter of recommendation for Amanda. I notice Brown conveniently did not mention that. Brown proved he has no class.

I will not be voting for a mayor this election. I think everyone should not cast a vote for mayor. Someone should start a campaign "No Brown for Mayor, Just say No, Don't vote" I can't wait to see the campaign signs start to go up on this one.

After seeing Brown vote "no" last night, I knew that I could expect to read many many comments about that. Sure enough, most people have piped in expressing their disdain for Brown and his vote. Looking at this objectively, is Brown not allowed the freedom to vote what he chooses? Did it alter her being appointed? No.  speaks out on being all for freedom of speech, Brown expressed himself. It was something you didn't like to hear. So what. He's entitled to vote how he chooses. Let it go already. |
