Question for DDA or EDC or whoever.....
Who do I have to bribe, sleep with or kill to get one of those nice flower pots in front of my store and the flower shop next door, we would like to have a flower box or 2 and maybe a bench or two.. Rocky |

You crack me up Rocky!!! I would suggest calling Leslie Lynch-Wilson or Don VanCleave (he sits on the DDA Commission). Check out the Event Calendar for the next DDA meeting and go the podium and ask for one. I am very impressed at how well many of the plants flourished that were planted. You can certainly tell who took care of the plants and who didn't. The ornimental grass is really nice looking.

The DDA paid for the planters in the DDA area only. Perhaps there is a way for other planters outside the DDA area to get flowers. Perhaps the DDA can provide to business owners a listing of the flowers that were planted so that the other business owners can do the same in their planters. The fountain grass is a perennial and will come back next year. New annuals will have to be planted next year. |
