Not even started yet. Im already lost.
On September 7th, we are supposed to report to first hour. We do not recieve our schedules until the first day of school though, so how are we supposed to know what our first hour is? The system has always been going to homeroom first to recieve our schedules and the list of homerooms was mailed along with all the other information about school starting. This year it was not mailed. There was no talk about homerooms. So where in the world do we report to on the first day back? Will schedules be mailed instead of recievied in homeroom? If so, when will they be mailed? School starts in less than two weeks. I hope they get them out soon if they are being mailed. Maybe Councilman Higgins can help us with this?!

your guess is as good as mine...I know the "not knowing" is making my son (who is a freshman this year) and his friends a bit apprehensive....we did how ever get a notice for 9th grade orientation in the mail last week that shows them reporting at like 9:15 am....hopefully the first days will go as smooth as they possibly can for all....

sept. 7 first day High School Students are to report to there 1st hour at 11:50 and will be dismissed at 2:20 . You should be getting something in the mail soon. If you are a new or tranfer student you must report between 8:30 and 11:30 or 12:30 to 2 pm. there is a 10:00 dollar book deposit required sept 8th 2nd day a full day of class begains at 7:50 dismissed at 2:38 |

The full school schedule is in another thread that I started if anyone else needs it. I heard from my friends that they got their schedules today. I have not been home in a week so I dont know but I guess all the Seniors got their schedules today. I suppose it goes day by day grade by grade. I know some of my Junior friends didnt get them today but all my Senior friends did. Im not even at home so I cant even look. Im sure your son will do just fine. I loved 9th grade. It was probably the best high school year I have had so far. His first day will be fine, it could be worse. My first day I tripped the school principal, got lost in the hallways, busted a pen chewing on it (blue ink all over my mouth), and slipped and fell on someone's pop spill in front of my locker. Then to top it all off my ex boyfriend slammed both my hands in my locker because he wasnt paying attention. LOl. |

That was 9th grade. Now as a Senior in high school my problems are much more complicated. Quit causing problems, it is immature and is striking my last nerve. |

Sorry about that. Im just used to being defensive towards you because of all the past issues you have had with teenagers and what not. I just dont agree with some of your opinions, but that is life. All my apologies. I respect you when it comes down to it. I kinda like the fact that you are stuck in your ways. Its a good place to be sometimes. Again, my apologies. |
