No Principal at the beginning of the year?
In the newsletter this month from the Lincoln Park Public School system, there is a district directory listing all the schools, the phone numbers, and the principal. Under Lincoln Park Middle School it says this: Lincoln Park Middle (313) 389-0757 1350 Lafayette Principal: (to be filled) Who is the principal for the upcoming school year? Do they have one or did Mr.Redden retire without there being a replacement?

Re: No Principal at the beginning of the year?
Too bad those newsletters aren't posted here. I don't always get one in the mail for some reason. I wonder if they're only sent to residents with children enrolled in the school system? If that's the case, that explains it. I have no chitlins. |

OK. Thanks I just like the read the lil columns that the superintendent sometimes writes and stuff like that. I don't expect you (or anyone else) to type those out word for word. If anyone has a scanner tho and wanted to scan the newsletter and upload it to the site, that would be awesome. |

:P All's I remember about Ms. Diener is that one morning, I wanted to use the bathroom and wash my hands. Usually, the bathrooms by the auditorium are locked (I have no idea why and think it's the dumbest thing in the world to have bathrooms, but to always keep them locked. They never lock the other ones). On this particular morning (before class started), they weren't, so I went inside and she was standing there washing her hands. She stared at me the whole time--it was just a little bit uncomfortable. After I washed my hands, she starting saying, "You can't stay in here! You have to go! You have to get out!" like my presence was some kind of disaster. Lady, I'm just washing my hands and I really don't plan on hanging out by myself in the bathroom. I just looked at her and said okay, dried my hands, and threw the paper towel out--she acted completely disgusted to be within a few feet of me. My only experience with the woman. Ha. She was an odd one. At least the position's been filled. When will the staff stop being jumbled around so much? |
