LP Man arrested after brutal assault
A Lincoln Park man was arrested in Ecorse and charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Allegedly, the LP man (William Padgett) and a Wyandotte man, beat a man severely enough which required the man to be hospitalized. Witnesses say the two men attacked a man on a street in Ecorse. It is alleged the victim was kicked in the head several times after falling to the ground during the attack. The victim is listed as being in fair condition
