Re: Blood Drive
Congratulations to all the fine people who consistently give blood at the community policing blood drive. I've given there in the past, but now I give at the office. |

Re: Blood Drive
Southside I've been to the past 2 blood drives. I must say everyone that puts this on is a class act.

Re: Blood Drive
Robin, can you put this in the calendar, I don't know how to. I figured out how to put it on the events countdown.

Re: Blood Drive
This is great! I participated last year. I was wondering when it was going to happen again. I just wore the shirt that was given out last year and was wondering. I'm not sure I want any OX meat though. Yuck. Where do you get OX meat anyway? |

Re: Blood Drive
I guess I could give it a try. I'll take mine medium well. I hope they break another record in the number of pints drawn. Its great to know you might have saved a life by giving up some of your blood and time. |

Re: Blood Drive
Ox is not commercially sold. It is nothing more than the hind quarter of a cow. So what you will be eating will be beef. |

Re: Blood Drive
Yep, I understand it is just called an Ox Roast because of the large amount cooked at one time and it sounds better than Beef Roast. Makes sense, I've never passed a farm with a heard of oxen in it but plenty of cow pastures. |
