For you people that don't know....Mexico used to encompass California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah ( i believe). A war happened, a general captured, a deal made and the U.S. claimed the right to the southwest. There are Mexicans that are bitter over this to this day that this happened. They will be glad to take over that region again. Then chaos will ensue. (see USSR) BTW: Is gringo a "racist" word Mayday? Immigration is good only if immigrants assimilate not start mini-countries within a country.

oh yeah and thanks for the clarification on you signature, i cant speak spanish but i know some words and that just didnt sound farmiliar, my father in law speaks spanish and english so i can sometimes pick up on a few word's here and there, i know a lot of kuss words  |

As long as they're US citizens, who cares what nationality they are? I'm all for people being proud of their heritage and choosing to embrace their families culture...that's what America is all about it. But I think people create racial divides by identifying themselves as "Mexican-American", or "African-American", or "Asian-American". If you are a US citizen...especially if you were born on US soil...then you are simply an American. When the Southwest is being dominated by "Mexican-Americans"...it sounds as if Mexico is invading us. The reality is that they are not. America's culture is simply expanding. The people that are dominating the Southwest are of Mexican decent, but they are still Americans.

Yes it is going back to Mexico! This could be good news for The Midwest ! If the west left the USA it would help our trade imbalance . It would make Michigan more powerfull in the USA House and Senate . It might be the end of Free Trade . Thank God if this would happen! Let us hope The West leaves the USA soon ! If Texas went with them it would be the end of BUSH WORLD ! Thank God if this happens ! |

My comments were based on the article they posted. The article did not make any determination between Mexican citizens and Americans of Mexican decent. In fact, from reading it, it looked more or less like they were referring to Mexican-Americans. They were talking about educating Mexicans and helping them to find jobs...all across the nation. That's not something you do for illegal immigrants. |
