New local Newspaper: The Wyandotte Echo
Have you guys heard of this fairly new publication called the Wyandotte Echo? I picked up a copy of their weekly paper (only 25 cents) today and was thumbing thru it. Then, I met the people who write and produce it. The editorials in this particular edition include a peice on a book written by David McCullough recently published called "1776" about America when she was young. (Makes me wanna go pick this book up! Sounds like something right up my alley!) Also an educational bit on a "Forgotton Founding Father" Opinions include a review of the Wyandotte Yacht Club and thier "Downriver Spirit" Competition as well as Family Life and Morals, and patriotism. Theres yet more to this paper, but I just wanted to get it out there about the paper. You can pick up a copy at these locations: Nanna's Kitchen 2962 Biddle Big Boy 3366 Biddle Mac's Variety 375 Eureka Rd Riverside Laundry 400 Eureka Rd Portofino Restauraunt 3455 Biddle Ramsey's Coney Island 1832 Biddle Smokies Tavern 930 Biddle Indian Lanes Bowling 4500 13th St Kielbasa Joe's on Oak ST Bob Evans in Taylor Arthur's Resturaunt in Southgate Nate's Market in Grosse Ile |

Hopefully they will branch out. It might give us something worth reading besides the opinions of the local government's paper, the NH.

Any amatuer could probably do a better job of writing articles than the unprofessional puppet rejects of the News Herald, in my opinion. All they'd have to start with articles that somewhat resembles the truth, and they'd be way ahead of the NH. I hope they consider branching out, this town is in dire need of a paper that is not in the bed with our local politicians at the expense of truth to our citizens. |

There are times I disagree with the views of the Editorial Page, but no one can say the opinions are not thoroughly thought out and professionally expressed.
